HomeStreet, Inc. functions as the parent company for HomeStreet Bank, primarily offering commercial, mortgage, and retail banking services to clients across the Western United States. The institution provides a comprehensive suite of financial products, including various deposit accounts such as personal and business checking, savings, interest-bearing negotiable order of withdrawal (NOW) accounts, money market accounts, and time certificates of deposit. Beyond deposit services, it also offers credit cards, insurance, and treasury management tools. Its extensive loan portfolio caters to diverse needs, featuring financing for commercial businesses and agriculture, single-family home mortgages, and a range of consumer loans. Further options encompass commercial loans secured by both residential and commercial real estate, construction loans for residential and commercial development projects, consumer installment loans, and permanent financing solutions for commercial properties and individual homes. Customers benefit from convenient access to these services via a multi-channel network, including traditional bank branches, specialized loan production offices, ATMs, and modern digital platforms like online, mobile, and telephone banking. By the close of 2021, HomeStreet operated a significant presence: 60 full-service branches strategically located in Washington, Northern and Southern California, the Portland metropolitan area in Oregon, and Hawaii. It also maintained five dedicated commercial lending centers across Central Washington, Oregon, Southern California, Idaho, and Utah. The company's client base is broad, serving small and medium-sized businesses, real estate investors, professional firms, and individual consumers. Founded in 1921 under its original name, Continental Mortgage and Loan Company, HomeStreet, Inc. is presently headquartered in Seattle, Washington.
