For cutting applications, Starrett produces a wide array of blades, including band, hole, hacksaw, jig, and reciprocating saw varieties. Additional offerings include M1 lubricant and precision ground flat stock. Their measurement capabilities further encompass classic hand tools like micrometers, vernier calipers, height and depth gauges, dial indicators, steel rules, and combination squares, alongside bespoke and non-contact gaging technologies. Starrett also provides essential hand tools for measuring, marking, and layout tasks, such as tapes, levels, and chalk lines, primarily serving the building, construction, and retail trades. Moreover, they manufacture carbide-tipped products specifically designed for cutting ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as castings. Distribution of their precision hand tools, saw products, and construction tools is primarily managed through a network of distributors and resellers. Starrett serves a wide array of sectors, including metalworking, aerospace, medical, oil and gas, machinery, government, equipment, and automotive industries. Their customer base also extends to marine and farm equipment shops, do-it-yourself enthusiasts, and a broad spectrum of tradesmen, including builders, carpenters, plumbers, and electricians.
